Hida Sugo, located on Sugo Hights , is one of villages producing buckwheat(soba) in Hida region. Soba flour in Sugo is high and rich quality thanks to natural environment of the highs (Altitude800-1,000m), such as gaps of temperature between morning/night and daytime and virgin water from a mountain. There is only one restaurant in this village, whose name is “Soba-Dokoro Sugo（そば処すごう6min on foot from KOMINKA・Genshichi）” provides local soba noodle, while you can taste other harvests in this village in one soba bowl, such as mountain vegetables and mushrooms locals get for you.
